I've schooled this dude so many times in the current meta that I don't really care if they nerf this is skill or not.
I MEAN, C'mon dudes... let the masked dude play, he can't be a loser his whole life... he needs to win from time to time.
Any possible nerf for this skill is not relevant at all because it was never broken. I think they should just let people play in peace as you said, blue eyes is cool but not broken at all. just my opinion.
I don't see any harm in them nerfing it to require you to run multiple high-level Spellcasters. Being guaranteed a specific card in your opening hand is maybe asking for trouble. Most non-Blue-Eyes decks that would use the skill would be running multiple targets anyway. (Maybe excepting Endymion-based decks, but then, do they really want to open with Endymion anyway?)
They won't nerf this skill because it would make the deck unplayable. And also it's nice to see Arkana in the current meta because the dude wasn't relevant before lol
That right there is the problem. Instead of giving blue-eyes proper support to make it consistent, it is at the mercy of a skill. Even with trick up the sleeve, it can still brick so hard or have one card ruin the whole opening play and not be able to recover. And frankly, I am sick of seeing the dude every time I pvp. People complain about heroes, but at least I see a lot of different characters.
Arkana has been in the meta for almost 2 months, it's not too much time. On the other hand, they cannot give "proper support to make it consistent" to a deck from a Big Box. Have you seen what happens when blue eyes have a good starting hand? it's pretty much GG ! They cannot make "consistent" a powerful deck from big box, IT'D BE REAL PAY TO WIN (unlike what haters say, everything is p2w 4 them).
Yeah. But beyond that and adding more cosmo, I'm just not sure what else can be done to make it more consistent without trick. I have defeated almost every player I ran into that used the beatdown version. That worries me.
I don't think it deserves a nerf, but if it is, you will still see Arkana. What about poor Seto Kaiba? Blue-eyes are his cards and they don't even work the best with him. He should have a better skill for it like advent of the blue-eyes from the duelist chronicles event.
