Arkana never uses Dark Renewal if there is no face-up monster on his field. Gate Guardian forces him to set all his monster face-down except Dark Magician
Thanks to op for this deck, I get 8k regularly vs lev 40 Arc with this. My only loss, I had "ready for intercepting" set when he summoned dark mag, I triggered it. Then he popped double summon and summoned another dark mag in and popped his 1k knives..ugh. Other than that..solid imho
