I want that to be back. I never experienced it since they only had that for the first year of DL.

In fact, a lot of stuff from the first year should have been repeated already. Duelist Kingdom, Toon event, Rex Raptor event, Bonz event....many of the players today only joined after those events.

That sounds like a very powerful card.

How about Maintenance Overrunroid? Which is nearly every maintenance.

I joined the game just last year, plus I took a 2 month break (4 weeks of that were forced as I had an interweb outage).

So I've maybe done 6 months and have seen barely any fun events. So many cards missing as well.

If you're referring to April's events being lame or Konami destroying the meta again with Six Samurai, that's not an April Fool event.
