Am I the only Aromage player still running Bergamot?? All I see anymore is this type of Synchro version being played with no Bergamot, but I think Bergamot beatdown is still a great strategy. Am I wrong? What am I missing here?

It's not just you, I still run Bergamot too.

Aside from for beatdown, Bergamot is also useful for Synchro, since Bergamot + Angelica/Sunny Pixie = Ancient Sacred Wyvern.

As a bonus, if you use Sunny Pixie, ASW instantly gets a 1000 ATK boost.

Me too. The reason I still like Bergamot is faster to drop your opp. LP because of his piercing as well as his ATK boost. Also this ATK boost remains until your next turn which has defensive playstyle.

Yeah, the piercing with the high ATK really helps against decks with high DEF monsters.

Before the archetype takes a Synchro approach, my favorite play was to summon Bergamot with Rose Lover or Gigaplant.

3900 ATK with piercing hurts.

You're not. I always have it in my aromage deck and I've see lots of players using it as well. great card I like it

And let's not forget that the piercing effect is also applied to the other Aromages. Great way to damage your opponent no matter what.
