I think Konami should. Remember it's drawing two random cards. not 2 cards that you can pick. The deck that the user has can get cards that they don't want.
Spells&Traps: if they have no monsters on the field then if they use pot of greed and get spells and/or traps then they could be goners.
Monsters: if they drew out 2 level 5+ monsters but they had no cards on the field then they're done.
a drawing card without cost or special conditions or drawbacks is unfair, regardless of whether you draw or pick monster. this card will 🔥 the game as bamboo sword did.
What you write is pure BS. Everyone that tried the Aroma Tethys Farm deck know how Pot of Greed will work.
Let's say the next Fairy is PoG.
You draw it. Now you activate it(2 Tethys draw)
Spell/Spell(your sayed level 5 brick monsters)
Without it: Remove the Fairy, not instead draw the Spell(brick monster).
NOW you need additional turn just to get the next brick monster. That's how draw work!
It's already said, that it's +1 hand and +2 from deck. There are only a few situations in which PoG would be useless:
1) You have only 1 card left after drawing it
2) You draw it as last card(but then you already had a problem)
3) You are in a stall game and need the decksize
4) It get negated(but this can happen to important Spells you would have played too).
