Serious question: Can tellarknights pull a xyz first turn? In all duels against them none of them have, it is just summon 1 set 3
I have seen many xyz centered decks (gagaga, furs, even the thunder family: brohunder, mahunder, etc) and all of them are more successful at pulling a xyz first turn.
The tellarknight deck most are using right now is a more control-oriented variant. They can pull out an xyz first turn, especially with Vega and cards like Photon Lead, but most will not immediately summon an xyz so they don't "have all their eggs in one basket" in case of cards like floodgate or Fiendish. Plus, their counter trap requires you to send a tellarknight from the field to the grave.
They can summon their boss monster 1st turn. 1 Play is a 3 card combo. Unukalhai + Skybridge + 1 more tellarknight monster in the hand. Summon Unukalhai to send vega in the grave. Use skybridge to Unukalhai and summon Altair from the deck. Altairs special summons vega from the grave and vega summons the Knight from the hand.
