At first I thought that you might have had to start over with a new account because of the gems. How does everybody else always have 9999 gems left AND never run out? Do they just always make sure that they have a certain number of characters that aren't levelled up? I still got a lot, I just never manage to have 9999 hanging around.

1) Stop needlessly leveling up characters when you don't need to stuff the inbox.
2) Spend gems from your inbox only.
3) Don't spend on every single box.

Result: You'll always have 9999 gems. PROFIT.

I got a lot of characters still at the 20 mark and some I didn't use at all. But I usually can't help trying to spend for something in a new or old box with gems, even when I use money. The highest in gems I saved in my box was about 7000. Just can't hoard too long without getting tempted and RNG usually likes to screw me over so bad.

That would make it easier. I had to become half p2w because too many UR and SR always end up in the last 10 or 5 packs in a box. I probably would have had to make new accounts at least 5 times by now since I don't have the luck of the devil like all of the people here always posting pics of their UR that they needed from their first 5 packs (usually prismatic). My luck usually is never good. :(

I got about 3000 gems right now. I really need to work on the 5Ds stage missions. What about having a second account? For fun, I mean. I got to thinking that it might be fun to do eventually since I learned a lot since then and have a different perspective on the game. Might be fun to play a new game, unlock all of the characters again...

I like this idea. But there are to many gems in the game, no need for new accounts. All my characters are level 30, except of 5ds characters, I'm still at stage 6 in 5ds lol. Anyway, your idea is cool!

Thanks! The events now seem better than they were before with the gems. The gx chronicles have more than I thought in the treasure chests and clear rewards. And soon Trudge will come back. If I make a second account, I would know what to get now. Back then, I actually thought I could collect EVERY card from all of the boxes. I quickly realized that that is not something I should do. XD

Yup, even the most boring event D.D Tower had a lot of gems. Lol you even need a ton of $ to obtain every UR card you want. Here I thought the luck FINALLY smiled at me, but the card I got before it was Miracle Fusion, I know now who smiled at me was Konami, not my ******* luck... I think you love to play Aromage, now they are so good with Ancient Sacred Wyvern, what's your opinion?

Oh, you think that box tease is bad. But it ain't nothing until you get shrink and the koaki spell and think it is miracle fusion at first when the pack shines. lol I did get ASW, though. I have a new aromage deck with balance and AFD. (If they 🔥 balance, I will be so mad). I will show it later. It did good in casual duel.

Im stage 16 and the only characters I leveled up to lvl 20 are Kaiba Ishiszu and Tristan. Just finished all loaner deck duels and duel quizzes yesterday. Only have 30 gems. But i did buy heck a lot of packs from Valiant Souls for the Canadia, but still didn't get it. Can anyone help because i want to open the new no 17 main box.

Don't worry. I'm on the same boat as yours. Maybe if we can compare what we've been doing/hoarding until now, we'll have a clue as to why we never reached that heavenly 9999 gems.

TLDR: I'm impatient, impulsive, and lacks a longitudinal approach when it comes to gem-spending. That's the reason why I never attained that highly-coveted "9999 gems" bragging right. I am an f2p and it wasn't reflected on how I opened the boxes in game.

That's why I never complained. I knew it's my fault all along as to why I never have that 9999 gems and beyond. LOL

My story? Well, it is nowhere near as interesting as yours, I'm afraid. Just a lot of boxes that weren't spent much on, a couple unopened, and a few heavily spent on like Valiant Souls. Only 3 characters at lv. 45. And basically gain a little, spend a little. Using some money usually means less gem grinding, but it is a bit easier now with reward x3. Still healthy, just impatient sometimes.

Good to know that you think of yourself as healthy. I have mostly lvl 45 chars now but still at an impoverished state bc of unwise spending which is almost cyclical and habitual. Just anxiously waiting for that UR deal now.

Yeah. It is really just a casual duel deck. With only 8 monsters for balance, I had a hard time deciding what to include. The annoying part is that ancient sacred wyvern requires a light tuner, so that fabled monster was the best I could do. Otherwise I would have picked X-saber fulhelm knight. I have powerful rebirth to bring the tuner back. If I use lp boost a, I could have 9 monsters. (Brick.)
