It's not a 100% win if you don't have the right cards at the start. He startet with Man-Eater Bug and just destroyed my Vanguard. It went all downhill from there for me T_T

I don't have union so couldn't tell you on that.

It is not a gurenteed win unfortunately. The win rate is 70-80% like the other semi-successful decks. This one was just easier to build card wise than some others.

I have the stuff to make all the other decks posted and haven't had more success with any other

This works by getting field control turn 1-3 with 1900ish beaters. From there you get angel O7 on the field to negate man eater.

Last turn p army with secrets. Gift angel to p army and attack for ~5-7k score

Maybe you could throw in a Wicked-Breaking Flamberge Baou and another card that prevents the effect of Man-Eater Bug instead of the Shards of Greed? That effect costed me the win, since I wasn't able to summon Angel before he had his Bug out. So I just try to think of how to prevent this from happening again.
Maybe Element Saurus could work too, since his Bug is an earth type monster?
