Why do so many people make such ridiculously big red-eyes decks? So many 23, 25 or whatever, sometimes even 30 card decks of these. And it is not even the lower ranks I find them in. They are usually in plat, but a couple times I have even see them pop up in legend. Am I missing something here? Because I don't understand how this helps them.
Speak for yourself. Made KOG with 24-25 cards in my RE deck. A RE deck with only 20 cards is likely all offense with no techs or defense. That’s not getting the job done in this meta. You need 3 Insights and 3 RE Fusion to compete and not having enough warriors and RE support cards is brick city. Red Eyes equip with POTG isn’t enough anymore
Around 24 is fine for a RESD deck with the speed you can mill through your deck. It's possible you can actually deck out against someone sometimes if you play bang on the 20 mark in drawn out match. Generally I play with around the 22 mark myself.
