What a strange release, it's very unexpected, but I guess Konami is telling us they like Dragunity. Hope it becomes a solid meta like Ancient Gears or Silent Magician.
Sorry, that sounds weird. I mean there's still no other Synchro deck in the meta aside from BW, so I guess they decided to bring Dragunity, which hasn't been meta even after a few releases across multiple boxes, into the meta.
Dragunity might have been a back-up plan in case Shiranui also failed, that they release anyway despite Shiranui's success, because who would reject additional cash? XD
