It starts on top of the deck, not in the starting hand. This means that you pretty much lose a draw. It's not a significant nerf, it just slows you down.

The reason it is a nerf is because your starting with 1 less card on the field + your deck is getting bigger by 1 card when they add HHG to your deck + your opening hand is locked by 1 card.

In the beginning of a duel, You don't need HHG in your starting hand.

It would have been better if the game gave us 1 HHG copy similar to like 1 Toon Kingdom.

It is better for us to have 20 cards in our deck and search for HHG when we need it.

Than to make our deck bigger + force it in our opening hand.

The beginning of the duel is the most critical point in a duel because face pace OTK decks will punish you.

Every since they Nerfed HHG, I don't use that skill any more.

I decided to use the skill Balance.

I added 1 copy of Mountain into my deck to buff my monsters by 200.

Basically, I still have the same buff, but with out the destroying trap/spell cards effect.
