It happened to me with my blue eyes farm deck, i use alternative evolution but it was just the day the box was out, the day after it was working ok

I tried reporting it but when I did, they try to make me record a duel and jump through 3 hoops so no thanks.

If you use the effects of Bright Star Dragon, it CAN'T get the extra boosts from the levels.

That's not a bug. This card gains ATK after the other monster has been sent to the GY which means it completely ignores level modulations.

Yep, the level in the GY counts. The level it had on the field doesn't matter at all.

The text which reigns supreme says it's 200x the card that "send to GY" not the card that is "in the GY".

Here's what happens in order:

1) You summon Cosmo by its own effect by sending a monster to the GY.

2) Cosmo's 2nd effect activates. It checks the monster's levels that is now in the GY. In this step, you don't care anymore what level it had in step 1) because this step is a different effect.

FYI: That's also the reason why you can use Embodiment of Apophis for 1) but you don't gain ATK because in 2) it is a trap and not a monster. That is the official ruling of this card:
