I'm not sure why people hate this deck but I love it because it's fast paced top tier and fun. As a rule of thumb you need each card's value to be at least 500 dmg, and you need to destroy your opponent in 3 of your turns (2 if you go 2nd.) By the end of your last turn you should have done 3,500 dmg using the 500 dmg minimum standard. The remaining 500 dmg will come from cards that do extra dmg like ATK & REC. Remember to use Restructer REV when they have at least 3 cards to meet the 500 dmg minimum. That's it folks keep calm and blaze on
How is it fun when its all luck based? Why play yugioh in the first place? Might as well play scissors, papers, stone with your friends. You want your opponent to be able to fight back , not winning by luck.
I hate this deck because it's just way to easy.
Whenever I see it I just think to myself "Great, I'm either going to have a good hand or lose". It's kind of like sitting down and watching your rank go up. I don't see any fun in that. I actually like battling monsters, not getting burned to death.
No originality or any strategic/critical thinking with burn decks...it's also super boring to play. You just set cards to reduce life points. Yugioh revolves around monsters and the support of spell/trap cards, which is what makes it fun for most people. But if you're uncreative and quite pedestrian, then go for burn decks.
but how original is it that EVERY meta deck has 3 copies of mirror wall and 3 copies of Econ and sphere kuribo? is that not super boring to play when EVERYBODY uses the same cards for the same effect? at least a burn deck doesnt use those exact same cards. (not saying a burn deck is original)
Why did you focus his word about "boring" and not his emphasis on strategic and critical thinking? You are just arguing for the sake of arguing without conclusive points.
its not really that much strategic and critical thinking if its all about who draws more mirror walls and econs before the other. meanwhile playing the deck doesnt require critical thinking nor strategy but i believe coming up with a deck that doesnt rely on 10 URs yet still can win does show critical thinking and strategy.
Dude go 🔥 yourself. It's 🔥ing yugioh not chess. You get lucky and get the cards you need or you get the meta cards that everybody abuses and copy from this site. If everybody and their mother can use Hhg or 3SD then anybody can use burn.
