The complaints are warranted since the one nail in the coffin for any monitized game is selling power and this is what is going on.

Considering this is going to be a series I don't see them winning new players over. This is NOT how you get ftp to pay to play.

This strategy has buried many games that do the same.

Yugioh is children card game.. Ofc 80% of it's community in reddit and gameA is below 15 years old. What player base do you expect? Some grown up dude on their 30s?

They dont need many f2p players. Look, if the p2w players will have a hard time to beat the f2p then they will become f2p them self or stop playing. Every game needs enough p2w player to survive and we, f2p players need p2w players, to pay for the server cost. So let it slide. Give it to them. Atleast we still have amazoness and other gem purchasable in our disposal.
