Some idiots here are trying to push the idea that getting to KoG is just dumb luck. All of these scrubs are either gold or plat at best and doesn't know how to make good meta decks or blew all of their gems in the wrong packs. Everytime when these idiots are blabbering about luck, I want them to post a screenshot of their rank with the current session and we shall all realise who these salty little 🔥s are.

Neo daedalus is fun to play, but if you want to climb through ranks, then Anti-meta Statue and Toons are the best option alongside REBD zombie

I made the climb from Legend 2 to KoG with Toons and had 10 consecutive victories. Only problem toon decks face are Sacred phoenix which can be dealt with 1 or 2 divine wraths. And since the Weevil nerf, burning land is rarely played any more.

Toons are so inconsistent, either because of bricks, Phoenix, Heavy Knight, etc. Consider yourself lucky that you were able to win 10 in a row with it lol

There is definitely a degree of skill involved, however, OVERALL it is luck based.

Nah, starting hand is definitely based on consistency. While matchup is not a problem if you build a versatile/good deck. Which lead to deck buildig skill

Not entirely correct, starting hand based on consitency is only to some extent(unless you run something like Control or Red-Eyes Balance). Stuff like restart help but still doesn't guarantee good hand cough*WCSFinal*cough. Matchup IS luck based. No matter how versatile, you can't have deck that is good against everything in this diverse meta. It'll have decks that it generally struggle against

Game is heavily based on luck, and there is almost no skill needed to play this game. Partly due to the format and the fact that Yugioh is probably the lowest skill card game out there

lmao, that comment is so true. They all think they lost the game because they didn't draw a card in their deck and call it bad luck whilst putting themselves into their top deck scenario either by not playing for future board or by wasting resources. Some noobs just don't get it and will call KoG all luck. Its not all skill but predicting cards, combos, keeping board control. They're just noobs.
