Maestroke would have helped him more in that situation. Anyway pretty bad luck to draw 4 cards and 0 Dual Wield, even though you’d Night Shot at least 1.
I have just never been able to get interested in Six Samurai. At first when Xyz was released, it looked more people were using it again. Now, not so much though, I think.
I used to enjoy using them before the warriors unite box. They offer a lot of variety and have many tools and effects that surprise opponents even today (as they know just Shi En/Enishi/Dual Wield).
It does have a ton of monsters to do a lot of different effects, so I see why it's appealing, even if I don't care for the card designs. But the Warrior Unite Six Sam early meta was one of those "what were they thinking?" turbo decks at the time with Shien turn one and dual wields.
Definitely, that’s why I wasn’t interested in it. I like Hatsume’s card appearance because of her amazing bare legs but effect wise I really enjoyed the Kamon/Yaichi team, they did me wonders back before Dual Wields Unite.
I only opened that box for Red Sparrow Summoner for my Amazoness deck. Now, I got Command Knight for it, too. That is why I'm using Sparrow over Warrior Lady of Wasteland since the latter can't float into Command Knight since she isn't earth.
They didn’t need to make the plot so insane and trainwreckish. But I agree Suzaku is such an amazing card and more versatile, works both with your Amazoness and my Goyos easily.
Yeah, it gets confusing to follow the rules irl as there’s no game AI to make the official OCG rulings work automatically. Many groups of friends end up playing it “wrongly” but then again they’re just friends playing.
