Witchcrafter is considered as OP y most people because most META cant handle verre, while verre itself is easily countered by some 3rd rate deck such as blue eyes or even gladiator beast to be honest.
It just..fair.

Solid dragon, or even alternatives + level 9 synchro combo. Note that Verre only negating the field ONCE, and only during that moment. It is something that every blue eyes user able to do in spite of its position in the META.

But you will never destroy it by battle because of the stats difference.
If your effect is negated your turn is basically over. Unless you use the P2W version of Blue Eyes with lots of drawing power thanks to UR/SR and credit card.

I never saw a BE deck win against a Lunalight yet. And that deck is so common. So not that much viable. Even 3 Alternatives won't help against a single un-targettable 5000atk monster.

The point here is not to "brag" about blue eyes, but to say that witchcrafter can be beaten by some 3rd rate deck. Of course top tier meta wont have that much trouble against blue eyes. It just fair, isnt it? It lose to some deck, and win to some deck.

Alternative and Solid dragon are the only cards from vanilla Blue Eyes that can help you against a single Verre. You can activate as much effect as you want, if they are not from those previous two you are not getting past the loli.

Well if you played blue eyes deck it is actually kinda granted to summon one of those card ( unless of course,bad hand).
Its not a problem to summon either of them, as the entire blue eyes Deck focused on summoning those monster.
