Solomon Muto (Sugoroku Muto)

Anonymous
Not a bad character. I remember he dueled Yuugi while wearing a mask and expected not to be recognized xD while the rest of his outfit was exactly the same he used on a daily basis.
Anoymous
Is the dragon he played in that duel available in the game?

No, though we have a card with the same name, and Red Dragon Archfiend has a very similar (mostly better) effect.

I doubt we'd get his anime-only cards. There's enough thematically appropriate stuff like Guardian Sphinx, Exodd and some of the Exodia support they could give him anyway.
Anoymous
He dueled Joey while wearing a mask not Yugi

agreed. It was joey he dueled, not yugi you TC moron.

Who knows really. If he watched the 4KIDS version then anything is possible. Damn, that show was terrible and as bad as it could be, I wouldn't be surprised if they edited the plot SO MUCH that solomon actually dueled Yugi hahahah

That show wasn't Yu-Gi-Oh!
They told you a completely different story, 4ki-ds was garbage.

Oh really? Name one plot element with a significant change between the dub and original aside from when Atem was in power.

Anoymous
Significant change?
1. Bakura is in fact Zorc Incarnated
2. Mokuba Kaiba was murdered by Zorc in a previous incarnation
3. The real name of Slife is Osiris
4. Zorc is the main god of Muslims, jooz and christians who believe the old testament
Im pretty sure there are more disastrous changes that turned yugioh into "a children's game"

That season is NOT cannon -_-

...About those "significant changes"..

1. Nope. Yami Bakura was always just a fragment of Zorc's soul merged with Thief King Bakura's in both. He resurrects the actual Zorc in the last season.
2. Not sure where you got that from.
3. Name changes aren't usually plot-relevant, and this is no exception.
4. Not stated in any canon. You might be confusing him with GX's Darkness/Nightshroud there.

Osiris is actually the one name change that's kinda plot relevant - it's an Egyptian God, which is related to the plot of Battle City.

"Slifer" is not an Egyptian thing.

Anoymous
Really, they should have kept "Osiris" alone and put "Slifer" on another card.....

Like say, change Gaia the Fierce Knight into Slifer the Fierce Knight. That would have been a much more acceptable change.

Slifer the Sky Dragon's name is completely irrelevant to the plot. It has no actual relation to the Egyptian God Osiris, it's just named after it. It's not like he's the only God in the Dub that isn't named after an Egyptian god anyway, since Obelisk isn't in either language.

Blaze
It’s not really relevant at all seeing as Obelisk isn’t the name of an Egyptian god anyway
Anoymous
That was Joey he dueled actually.

It's irrelevant to the plot, but extremely relevant to the naming theme of the group as a whole.

They're called EGYPTIAN Gods. The "Egyptian" part is the more important part here. The entire thing about Atem is he is an EGYPTIAN Pharaoh.
