Oddly enough, I'm using the exact same "KOG" GB deck posted, I'm having an extremely hard time even getting 2 wins in a row. I get shut down by Phoenix, Burn users destroy me, AG depending on what I can draw. Using Balance if that matters. My longest streak was 9 wins and I got tilted back to 1.
I feel like GB isn't really tier 1, but tier 2. Unless I'm just the unluckiest person in the world and I'm going on some terrible losing streak.
I doubt it's my skills tbh, I'm pretty good. I made it to Legend 3 match 4 this morning and got titled badly.
My problem with Burn users is that they always summon a Lava Golem on me, I draw a Parasyte and then they stall me until I lose. It's so infuriating tbh
Hey, don't be toxic ^ Reporting back though. I switched up my deck and used the Switcheroo varient of GB, got to KOG rankup and got cucked by Endymon Bamboo. It happens. If I can't make it this season I had a great run at least.

GB are definitely tier 1. They are pretty annoying to play against. I’ve played it real life back in the day, it was fun but in duel links it’s pretty gross lol
Your problem is the build, kuriboh is bad, econ is meh and you need backrow hate. Burn is burn, its a tossup match - they can nut you and theres nothing you can do.
This is the OP, I actually got KOG a couple days ago. The build was almost perfect, but there was one thing bugging me: the 3 Bestiaris. I took one out, added a 3rd Laquari, and used the Restart skill.
I found that Balance was causing me to have horrible hands along with me just being on an unlucky streak. I won 15 matches in a row afterwards and achieved my very first KOG.
