Don't blame Konami, blame the player base for abusing these cards and not using different decks to promote diversity. This will continue to happen to those that keep using one track decks to win all the time without switching up sometimes.

People will always use best deck if ranked is still like this. You need win streak to climb so no one who do ranked will use fun deck in pvp.

I don't mind nerf if a deck is dominate the ranked but what komoney do is killed it. After banlist hit you will never see Shiranui anymore. Wtf limit 2 for half the deck? That not nerf. It remove from existant.

What should be nerf is generic op trap card.

It's not like people love using the same old decks all the time. Players go for new boxes and try out new decks, but when those decks end up sucking and they want to win, they go back to old decks, it's not their fault Konami released weak boxes, those XYZs are from 10 years ago whereas a lot of the fusion/synchros we've got now are quite recent.

Indeed. As he said, the victims here are the players who are either forced to buy new powerful cards to not lose, or who don't buy and keep losing.
But we still blame them for not buying other older/weaker decks.

Blaming those victims is perfectly natural. They whine so much about unbalanced game, it's tiring!

To not be a victim you just have to keep buying newer meta decks. Not rocket science.

Exactly. I cant understand the logic of Konami. They give as new op tcg cards like Neos Fusion and after a whole year they release cards ACID TRAP HOLE and Fissure from the stone age of yugioh? The only reason imo they do it is to promote and push back to the tcg old players. No thanks.

After playing yugioh in competitive level for almost 9 years and having beedb 3 time in top 16 nationals and I even qualified to European Nationals I can say I have spent ENOUGH money in yugioh. As you grow up you will learn to appreciate more your hard earned money. Trust me.

All the cards in the banlist deserved it! I'm a Shiranui abuser. I don't care if Shiranui is dead, my backrows are all safe. Rest of those broken decks MUST be limited.

Scrap Recycler + Citree is absolutely broken.
177 Merchant is just like Cyber Stein.
Cocytus must be forbidden, no more 3 Invoker + 2 Invocation deck.
DM turn 1 activate Circle, set 2 cards. We have had enough of all this 🔥.

They should nerf the balance skill as well. Imagine a skill that will prevent bricks can be used in TCG and that will be the most broken thing ever.

You should never be allowed to draw 1 monster, 1 spell, 1 trap + 1 random card at any point of time.

The purpose is to have few op tcg cards in old boxes so that they keep their value through time. That way, old boxes are must buy for 1-2 cards even though it's 99% obsolete.
