First rule of GB decks. Run heavy backrow. Backrow which allows you to defend safely and attack safely. The only tricky card is shien. In my experience, GB steamrolls once it gets ahead, struggles from behind but still has more playmaking potential than almost any other deck
Crush his monster before he get 2 on the board and destroy their backrow as well. Put a lot of defensive traps so your monster don't get destroyed shouldn't be hard for GB to achieve this to be honest.
