So i have a question, the situation is this: my opponent has a monster, i have none. I equip a broken bamboo sword AND a cursed bamboo sword to my opponent monster.
And to my surpise i can't activate the cursed effect and return the broken in my hand.
Is this because the effect says that the monster can attack directly but my opponent monster can't attack because it's my turn?
I can only use the effect and return to the hand only if the equipped monster can make an attack in my turn?
nah dude even if i equip it to an opponent monster as long as the card is on my side of the field i'm the controller.
Take Mask of the Accursed as an example, you equpi it on an opponent monster but the control of the card is still yours :)
ahh the good old random 🔥s :)
He gave me a wrong answer therefore i explaned him that he's wrong.
From the wiki:
While the equipped monster can be the opponent's, the Equip Card's controller is the one referred to "you" in the Equip Card's card text, not the controller of the equipped monster.
As i said even if i equip an opponent monster i still control the equip card.
you mean Denied or deny. It is smart to look up the words your spelling. But if you think you spelled it right, then maybe go back to school? Don't for get to add your punctuation.
The reason you can't activate the effect because that is conditional. Yes you can equip to any moster. Monster you control (on your side of the field) and monster your opponet control. Since the effect of returning other bamboo sword except cursed bamboo sword is for you attacking your opponent directly this turn,it shows that effect only apply if you eqquip the cursed sword to your monster.
