Question; why does an archfiend being super rushed not trigger pandemoniums effect? I assumed it would as it's destroying by card effect not battle?

The only guess is something relate to cannot activate card effect until the end of battle phase.

Pandemonium's effect can't be activated in the damage step. (It's rare for a trigger-like effect not to be able to, but it would appear Konami decided to do so in this case. The TCG text doesn't actually mention that, but it has OCG rulings saying so.)
