Koa'ki from DLv.10 straight to 19, and Yubel to DLv.MAX.. I don't know why Koa'ki didn't make it it's a win-lose win-lose situation but today I played my favorite stall deck then a straight 5 win streak against the meta. She/He always saves me every time. I love you Yubel.

Here's my list. If opponent uses Gears, I 🔥 Yaksha if my field spell didn't make it, if you able to get Yubel on the field 80% chance of winning. Against Koa'ki I bait my Yaksha face down and most of the time I win. Was lucky in my last duel since I didn't get Yubel, only 3 Warm Worms & Yaksha against Heroes, Mask spells were dumped to the grave early & Yaksha 1800 stood like a King.*Lucky!

Definitely luck, if nobody used Koa'ki Meiru Ice.

Yeah. Since face down effects doesn't activate in the current meta now especially with the gears (esp. warm worm, but I destroy it along with Incarnate or with the field spell to stall) And luckily I always have the godly hand. Same experience last year. Yubel is my lucky charm facing DLv.19 to 20. ^•^

Ice is a serious threat to yubel.

Ice is such a serious threat for any deck in the current meta: vampires, koa'ki, silent magician, ancient gear, yubel... pretty much all of them

Sometimes they have to choose to discard Maximus and Iron Core to destroy the two face of Yubel or sometimes they destroy Incarnate with Maximus and nothing to discard for Ice to destroy Ultimate Nightmare. In a critical situation I still have my Powerful Rebirth to revive Yaksha and a Yubel in hand. Most of the time I survive against Koa'ki ambush that way.

I think most of my games against Koaki ended on the second turn.
I set Yaksha face down (going first of course).
On the next turn, they summon standart trio: Urnight, Ice, Maximus. And they still have 2 cards to discard.
Oh, and if I go second, they just skip their turn lol.
I tried to use 3 Canadia instead of Kuribo, and it was better against Urnight, but not good enough in other mutch ups.

AG is bad match up too:
Kuriboh is dead card
Even 1 enemy controller means auto lose, since the opponent will always find a monster to sacrifice, and 3000 attack Reactor dragons will not leave you a chance
Some versions of this deck can summon a 4700 attack fusion monster on their first or second turn that deals piercing damage to face down cards, such as warm worms or Fire king, totally fatal

If the Island is destroyed with the Reactor dragon's ability, Yubel will lose timing (and even the warning message will not appear).

Yubel is pretty weak in current meta

Lol. It's all about luck after all this current meta using Yubel, because probably I'll just say my 5 consecutive wins with Yubel was having the godly hands first turn. And I promise that Yubel is my lucky charm to DLv.MAX but I swear after MAX if I use Yubel for fun (or for 50 gems per day) I often lose. ^^.

DLv.MAX is easer than KOG
I think I will try to play Amazoness with Canadia/Floodgates
I am poor and also do not want to join AG/Koaki madness

Yeah I also reach dlv max thanks to yubel although my cards not as complex as you. It can hold off against AG and koaki

To last anon that comment my comment at the last second row i don't have complete cards for koaki yet like the first anon.I was first use cyberdark to climb up to dlv15 but start from there my deck is otked by koaki although can still win against AG so I changed to yubel.I only loss if they used ice or my hand is bad
