Does anyone know why Konami won't add japanese audio to the Steam version? Is it a copyright issue or something? I keep asking for it in surveys, but it never happens. I know that there is way to put it into your system, but I don't know how to do all of that hacking stuff and the video was in Japanese. Can someone give me a step-by-step guide about how to do it?

You don't need to do all that hacking stuff.
The uploader of the video left a link with everything ready.
You just need to replace a file.

It won't let me open it. Instead, I get this: "Windows Defender Smartscreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk." And then it only gives me the option to "Don't run".

It is compressed. So you have to extract it.
It's a dll file.
Follow the steps of the video to find the file you need to replace it has the same name so you will know.
If it helps I remember common and appdata as some of the folders in where the file is

Idk. I extracted it, does the same thing. No Japanese voices for me, I guess. I will try playing around with it some more, though.

Wait. I clicked it again and now it has the "run anyway" option. Hope I don't regret this. Windows Defender coming up doesn't make feel very comfortable.

Are you sure we are talking about the same folder. It's a dll file you don't need to open it.

Yup that's the one.
Just copy and paste and when it ask to replace click yes.

But it is under 2.6.0 JapaneseVoice. Idk if it is even right. They had a bunch of stuff there.

Actually the guy used to re-upload the file after every update.
Seems he didn't now.
But the thing is quite simple since the only thing he does is copying the file once the game updates and re upload it.

I checked recently and the and the file says update 2.70.
If you still have this version you could go for it.
If your pc updated to v 2.80 I don't recommend it.

The file was updated 29 days ago and it said v 2.70 update.
So I'm pretty sure it was that one.
Also it was the link that said v.2.61 leading to a website to download the aforementioned files.
I'm sure he will update again now that steam updated to v2.80, give it time xD
