Lightsworn was a broken archetype for long time when you had all the "right cards."

The issue is most players didn't!

The reason why is because the decks main engine monster cost up to 5k cash for a single copy.

The average Joe didn't shell out that kind of cash on a single duel card.

Players played great decks which were much less expensive.

Glad Beast were more popular because of how easy it was to get the cards in relation to cash invested.

Lightsworn were more dominating, but they were less popular over all because only the top cash players ran them.

Minerva, the Exalted Lightsworn is the decks main mill engine.

It mills the Lightsworn monsters in grave which allows you to activate Judgement Dragon.

Judgment Dragon such a BS monster to deal with. lol

A playset of Minerva will set you back 15k grand give or take a few grand depending on your location.

No. Lightsworn on it's own was never broken. It was Honest (which got limited at one point) and Judgment Dragon, which tbf, all Lightsworn decks in that era was practically Judgment Dragon turbo.

All Lightsworn decks ran Honest & Judgement Dragon?

The deck didn't even exist with out those monsters in the deck at that time.

An those monsters helped the deck be broken.

As I much as I dislike Player J, people are taking this thing way too far. They just see whatever he said as VS and completely ignored his points. Player J had some really great points there and people just brushed them off while 🔥ing him. It's almost like cyber bullying.
