What a mess. Special summon this. Special summon that. You can't enjoy it. They should change the name to "Total Chaos." Games should be fun. Hence the word "game." This "game" needs to be simpler. The anime was.

magic become more complex? look at cards like shahrazad, dance of the dead, living wish, and say it again. chaos orb is most tcg complex card ever printed and is from oldest mtg set.
I feel like the point of those missions is more to give you something to do after you just grind to the top of the tower. They don't really intend you to get every single achievement the first time. They EXPECT you to go back. (Which makes sense, given it's easier to Summon Roc when you have 3 rather than 1.)
U dont need to complete mission if u think it is boring. I already got 3 copies of all cards in the dd box while at 40% mission completed, aside from top floor that still unlocked, this event is done for me.
This game IS easy, you can't expect them to build a App for people who don't know how to play. Build a better Deck an you'll even beat most opponents with auto duell
