In my opinion, i don't recommend to spend in this box your gems, maybe here is a tier 1 even a tier 0 if you're stupid like dkayed, but 5ds is close, and i'm sure synchros gonna change the meta A LOT.
I would wait if you really only want top meta decks.Mermails won't be crazy good because they don't have their better cards like inzektors didn't have either.U.A has the same thing with Mermails but they have more potential.We'll see if they can be good or not.
U.A. actually has even less of a potential than Merlantean.
U.A. has HUGE issues:
- Unless you open with Midfielder, Stadium, and Dunker, you might as well just surrender, because you don't have your only wincon.
- Midfielder is the only Level 4 of the deck, everything else is Level 5 or higher.
- Midfielder is an UR and you need 3 copies, making the deck crazy expensive.
opening with only midfielder and Stadium is not bad since u can add the higher levels with Stadium, the deck is on the offensive side and can't tolerate many backraws so I don't know how to compensate for this without altering the consistency of the deck, sangan is a good option for searching tho
It is powerful in the event which is not a meter for strength of decks anyway .... I think they will not be powerful in Ranked matches after box release and Floodgate Trap hole and Canadia will be very annoying to U.A. Players and a lo of ppl run many copies of them in ranked
I really hope we don't witness another furhire season, the same boring meta for 3 months is actually the reason why the game is dying, I really wish the new box bring some meta changing decks
