KC Cup: 1st Stage (Feb 2019)

Makrov krauz
I tried this deck on level max kc Cup. A meme deck at best but sometimes it shines. -5/10 win rate, loses to heavy backrow decks and vampires, usually wins against AGs, 50%-50% against koaki, hallowed life barrier and Fabled Dianaria are cluch against Koa'ki, heros and sometimes vampires. -it rarely bricks but even so with Grit and hallowed life barrier you can stall. -dark core and offerings are replaceable with snipe hunter but not necessarily for better. -from my experience dark world dealing is the least useful card, it just allows you to swarm the field but the problem is non of the synchro monsters (except ASW and gigantic castle) can deal with big monsters so I prefere econ, dark core and offering. -Hollowed life barrier is the main engine, free summon + full turn protection from damage and battle destruction. -Econ is replaceable with Trunade but in this OTK meta Econ is very useful. -replace ASW with Armades

a replay vs Koa'ki.
The koa'ki player didn't read Dianaira's effect

Dianaria primarly works to counter the diamond core, backrow removal, Fortress and hey trunade.
it's also a 2800 atk beater that can be summed by tributing 1 monster.

This is quite a nice deck, I love it when people do not read the cards ^^
Anoymous
finally someone realized hoe good Hallowed Life Barrier in Fabled deck
Anoymous
Put 1 Fabled Kushano, it's much better than DWD for Fabled Deck. A LV 3 Tuner, can be added from GY to the hand at anytime by discarding Fabled monster which does combo very well with Ganashia or Cerburrel, also a nice fofder for Hallowed Life Barrier cost
Makrov krauz
my Final optimization to the deck.
-removed trunade and replaced it with a 2nd Econ.
-added 1 Xing Zhen Hu to compensate for trunade.
-Removed Dianaira and added Krus for better consistency, my other option was to add a 2nd Raven or Kushano but playing with 5 tuners is not optimal.
-Dark world dealing was removed as it gives the opponent more options + It's -1
-Kudabbi was added

nice build Makrov Krauz
Anoymous
Kushano + Nozooche / Krus = Ragin / Armades
Kushano + Ganashia = any generic LV 6 Synchro
Kushano + Grimro = Ancient Sacred Wyvern / any generic LV 7 Synchro
Kushano + Ragin = Avenging Knight Parshath / Fabled Valkyrus / Stardust Dragon / any generic LV 8 Synchro
After synchro summon, add Kushano back to the hand by discarding a Fabled monster, thus can also trigger the discarded monster's effect

kushano is good alright but the only problem is you need a good hand with different fableds to use it optimally, it's very good to summon lv 6 synchro with ganashia,
kushano+ ragin is not easy to do as Ragin doesn't survive in this meta, ASW is not good in this particular build.
if kushano can special summon himself he will be the best tuner but unfortunately he takes your normal summon.

kushabo gives many options if you have a consistent way to dumb him to grav, that's why I run ragin in this deck as it can synchro summon from it's own effect, Ravin+ ganashia or Gremro = Lv 6 synchro, it's very consistent to do in this deck.
Anoymous
I play Nozooche because it helps to summon multiple synchro materials without even using normal summon. Special summon Noz by discarding Ganashia, then use its effect special summon Cerburrel/Raven from the hand. That's instant Fabled Ragin. If I get both Grimro and Hallowed Life Barrier after summoning Ragin, I'll always use Grimro's effect to search for Kushano

my build heavily focus on summoning Rajin for the draw power to draw Tribute/dark core/econ or Xing.
it's sad fabled need help from such cards to win as synchro monsters (except armades) aren't really that good, with theses cards around synchro options become limited, Kushano will be great in a deck with more monsters and less backrow, I will try to build a deck focusing on synchro with kushano

Makrov krauz
interesting, but again it needs combo cards so you need to play with less spells/traps for better opening hand, if you are focusing more on synchro your idea is actually good with more monsters in the deck.
it's sad my win condition is to use rajin to draw offering or econ instead of synchro summoning.
if Konami released better fabled/ generic synchro I will switch to a synchro oriented build
Anoymous
I usually use LP Boost because ASW is my main boss. But Avenging Knight Parshath is really interesting card because its effect is just like Karakuri's Burei and it also inflicts piercing (too bad Parshath can't do anything against Ancient Gear)

mind sharing your build?

sadly I don't have any Armades now

Extra Deck : 2x Fabled Ragin, Armades, ASW, Parshath
Previously I use DWD version, but I immediately change it to Hallowed Life Barrier after playing against a Japanese duelist

interesting, your build heavily focus on synchro summoning as I expected.
nice jinzo tech, I tried it but it didn't work well with my build.
I will give it a try.

is it intentional to run only 2 Grimro and 2 cerburrel?
Anoymous
Intentional. Opening with 2 Grimro + Hallowed is suck. As for Cerburrel, I often play only 1 copy of it and use 3x Raven instead.
Anoymous
I focus on Nozooche opening. It's a level 2 non-tuner, in this case Raven is better than Cerburrel because Raven can discard a card to increase its level to help early Ragin summon

I tried a similar build to yours and it also did good.
kushano didn't work for me lol, maybe I'm just not lucky with it.
I need to replace the 2nd jinzo with a 2nd Xing Zhen Hu and Kudabbi with Armades.
I love how this build summon ASW consistently.
I thought this build with 6 backrows and 2 jinzo will brick but it never did so!.
