You shouldn't run Otohime. Run 2 Susa Soldier over x3.

Also the Mirror isn't as good as you lot are making it out to be. You should be setting your Spirits more often.
To be fair, their DEF aren't really high enough to survive common 1700 ATK monsters, so keeping Susa Soldier on the field with the mirror can make for a pretty meaty 4-star wall. I still see your point, though.
What neither of you are seeing is with Power Spot, Spirit monsters can wreck the field in any mode. Also that with Mirror, all you need to do is wear it for 1 turn, ONE TURN, and that Spirit is going nowhere. Destroy mirror yourself or Gravelstorm it back into your hand while ditching an opponent's card and your set. Spirits have epic potential with these Shinobird cards.
If you don't mind giving up your cards, Storm is an alternative to clear the way, especially after Mirror's 1st turn as it's useless. Then you can place another Power Spot or a better Equip like Baou or Graal. Storm is a stop from Odion btw.
