Rainbow dragon is bugged for me! I can’t use its 2nd effect and it has costed me duels. Rainbow gravity too. It doesn’t allow me to bring it back from the GY as it says, just the deck
1. RD's effect cannot be activated during the turn it is summoned, also, RD's second effect is your turn only, unlike the first effect which is either player's turn.
"Even with an effect that ignores the Summoning conditions, Nomi and Special Summon-only monsters cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard or if banished unless they have first been properly Special Summoned."
Basically you can Summon anything from the Deck or hand by ignoring its Summoning Conditions, but things from the Graveyard or banished area have to be properly Summoned first by the method written in their text before you can Summon them.
And FYI, this ruling has been in place for more than 7 years :p
The effect of RB Gravity does not work cause you need to have special summon rainbow dragon first then if it gets sent thefirst time to the GY, he can be special summoned ignoring the conditions.
it is vastly different Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem effect for SS from the GY for a AG Golem even if you didnt summon it to field as the first time summon, you can just sommon it from GY like nothing lol
Yep, AG Golem is different because it CAN be normal summoned or set. It has another summoning method.
The "can't revive if not summoned properly" ruling only applies to Nomi and Special Summon-only monsters - a.k.a. the ones you can't summon in any other way.
