I kinda miss the days where it was straightforward. Smash big stuff together, and try to summon the biggest baddest mother🔥er quicker than the other guy. You know, kind of like how duels went in the original show. That was fun. All of this sylvan and stall stuff is just blueballing. Decks don't feel as fun anymore. I got some decent success with the Geargia deck for a little bit, but the deck just wasn't fun to play. Like, I was winning, but it wasn't satisfying.
I guess I just wish I could still get hyped over the big bastard monsters like I did when I was a kid. It sucks looking at something like Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon and thinking: "this thing is gonna get killed by Marshalleaf in a second" instead of "Oh hot damn, I'm gonna be the coolest kid at recess." You know?
I see where you're coming from but I like the meta. Yes there are some decks that are just 🔥 but I play this game only to think of a counter strategy. You sound like you want to play checkers with people trying to play chess. No disrespect meant.
