reaching kog has nothing to do with balance reducing the chance of opening with ur full combo.
balance guarantees a core(iron/diamond) and a monster/s, usually one or 2, which can be maximus or sandman, you need urnight. also you can draw the iron core and sandman/urnight with no maximus.
it's all about that 1 or 2 traps you are guaranteed to draw which reduce the chance of having the full combo.
the case of theanonymous user whom climb kog with vamps against koaki isnt strange. With balance koaki u can obtain 1mon, 1spell, and 1trap. If your fouth card is 1mon or 1spell, you can make the combo, but if it is a trap, you need wait. that is a 66.6% of succes and how you have more monster, otk increases to 70%, but you need to go second for atack, so that % reduce to only 35% of success.
That's the problem with balance, you can't use winged/OG kuriboh so going first usually means you have to commit, especially if you open with 1 trap because setting only 1 trap isn't safe at all and if you open without the diamond core the maintenance cost will be heavy.
Balance Koa'ki is really good but when it comes to the mirror match last gamble with winged kuribohs is the best.
yeah i understand that. I think the best for koaki players is dont waste all their cards in a single turn. If they save some cards, it dont worry if you going first or second and always you will have a 70% of success in OTK (that is more impresive of snipe hunter probability)
