6K gems is a bit low for a Main Box investment (Barely 66% of a box). Unless there is something you absolutely want from this pack, I would recommend investing in September's release. It will give you more time to max out your gem cache to obtain the already hinted 5Ds area as well as more time to evaluate the Meta.

Mermail don't look so good, discard effect in all monsters sucks, SSA could be use to protect Abyssmegalo.

Mermails are meant to be used with Atlanteans.

Of course they're not good if you just use Mermails alone.
