By being the most prominent advertised face of Yu-Gi-Oh!, he is promoting what should be a game played for fun as played for sin. What is “personal” is also thinking in his logic, the ego. I am an opposer of playing a game to satisfy your ego treating others badly, something that is immoral and the fact the game promotes an immoral character is worrying and worth opposing.
Someone who kidnaps and tortures a kind old man and rips his treasure in front of him is very close to the antichrist. He didn’t π₯ him so he’s not the antichrist himself, but the actual Antichrist unforgivable villain characters aren’t promoted by the establishment as Kaiba the horrible scum is, so he is a bigger threat outside the series universe, being promoting of sociopath behavior.
^ He actually became a better person through something called “character development.”
I don’t think you actually watched the show if you think he’s the exact same character from start to finish. That’s like saying Goku is weak because Raditz kicked his butt.
Power level and character development are completely different. He continued to be mostly the same π₯ all the way up to stalking a dead soul in DSOD. He just did some "helpful" things out of self interest to continue hunting for a way to beat his pharaoh crush. That's π₯ing disturbing. All he does is for his own ego. Don't be fooled.
That’s the main problem, someone who is not a good guy must not be promoted, that is a horrible thing. Someone who did what he did being worshipped and revered is an π₯ to good, kind hearted people who like playing Yu-Gi-Oh! and having fun.
Very. Someone who did that to Yugi’s Grandpa is unforgivable. Just because he didn’t do something even worse doesn’t make him interesting. I can’t stand seeing someone like that being highly validated and supported by many many fans. It annoys me so much that it’s not despite his being bad that he is so loved, it’s because he’s bad. That’s how Trump got elected. This sort of character I can’t stan
Not just bad people. Even the killing of normal people is easy to overlook nowadays. Just look how much story in the books, movies, games, etc that involve killing person...
why refer to overlook about real bad criminals?you treat it like we "overlook" so we are the bad cos of it.serious criminals deserve what get.not overlooking.just these deserve what these get
Everyone seems to forget, we're not much different from animals... I'm not saying that killing is right but, I'm afraid its life. People fight, get jealous and are greedy. Just make sure you're not like that and leave it alone
He just wanted to go out in a way that made him look good. He knew both he and Yugi would die anyway at that point unless the Pharaoh intervened. He was acting selfish, again. He “developed” from a sadistic torturer to a selfish asshole. That’s not enough to stop being hated. Again, the existence of actual vile killers like Yummy Bakura just speaks badly of them, not good of Kaibascum.
