What is forbidden/limited card?

Forbidden cards are essentially "banned" cards, while limited simply means that you can only put 1 in a deck, semi-limited is up to two in your deck only. Some cards in the OCG/TCG are either forbidden, or limited, and this is due to their ability to create an unbalanced experience for the game.

Ruling

Unlike in the TCG/OCG where you can have multiple limited cards with different names in your deck, in Duel Links you can only have a total of 1 limited card in your deck. For example you have limited card A and limited card B, and you already put 1 card A in your deck, you cannot add card B to your deck even if they are not cards of the same name.
This rule is also true for semi-limited cards in which you can only have a total of 2 semi-limited cards in your deck.

What I'm finding confusing is that I for some unknown reason, cannot play enemy controller and diamond core of koa'ki meiru in the same deck.

It keeps acting like enemy controller and diamond core of koa'ki meiru are somehow the same card.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
They’re both semi limited- which means you can only play 2 cards of that status in you deck. Ex: 1 Econ and 1 Diamond Core, or 2 Econ and 0 Diamond
Anonymous
Just 1 new card added to the list, that’s bulls**t. Why not target subterror & AG as well. That’s what people are going to do, move onto the other top decks & the same thing will be repeated again. Luckily I have other decks I want to try out like Alien Neos & I want to see how far I can get with Gladiator Beasts
<< Anonymous

Only good because of spellbooks limit a spellbook card and it's dead
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
But Silent Magician doesn't have an archetype that resolves around her, besides Spellbook which is not interesting to play and to play against. I like playing Spellcasters deck with her, but it's way too inconsistent and lack support / strenght, which she doesn't compensate alone. Doesn't work that well with Arcanite neither, which is already tough to summon because no tuner.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Spellbook pairing with broken magician is a tier 2 deck now. I have no idea why they nerf spellbook instead of this card. Soon when you have a new archetype specifically for this card and it will be so broken just like Neos Fusion.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Agree that this is the mother of all broken cards.
Anonymous
Neos fusion not limited, thanks komoney
<< Anonymous
Silent Reply
It could get limited stop with ex sr box sr 🔥 nothing is safe
<< Anonymous(Silent)
Anonymous Reply
Yeah, but see how long it took until Konami started limiting minibox SR? And how long it took for mainbox SR?

EX deck SR will still be safe for a loooooong time.
<< Anonymous(Kaien)
Anonymous Reply
Only Cyberdark and it is so broken when you play with 3 Desperado and 3 Neos Fusion. Obviously p2w.
<< Anonymous(Kaien)
Anonymous Reply
EVERY deck used it even koaki meiru for example!
Falafel
Thank you Konami for listening my review for nerfing Six Sams
<< Anonymous(Falafel)
Anonymous Reply
No thanks, nerfing 6 sam is not enough. I demand more broken cards to be limited.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
With the new Six Sam hit, I think the only card I really, really want to be hit now is Lava Golem. Aside from that, the current format isn't that bad. Especially if Konami gives us a non-destruction removal card like Phoenix Wing Wind Blast in the near future to counter Desperado.

Neos Fusion and Red Eyes Fusion to stop those broken decks putting TTH.
Anonymous
Wow, twice Komoney has been picking on 6Sams, with two ban lists with only a single Six Samurai card on it. After they collected all the money they could from the deck. They need to pay more attention to all the decks that incorporate Neos fusion.
Arche Klaine
It is ok, I guess.
Anonymous
Rest in Pepperoni Six Samurai. You were the best F2P deck I've ever KoGed with.
Silent
Six sams needs to go now it was best deck on ladder wcs also proved it
Anonymous
Why no Neos fusion? Just 1 R card?

6 samurai do not even need Shien since nobody uses traps today

nobody treacherous trap hole but they can easily summon 3 other monsters after this
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
except treacherous trap hole*
Kaien
Where is dual wield
<< Anonymous(Kaien)
Anonymous Reply
Enishi alone is still a very hard hit for Six Sams. They now must choose between bring out Shi En easier (Dojo) or bounce back monsters easier (Enishi)

This is a pretty hard hit for Six Sam players
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
I won't be surprised if they do another SixSam hit in the future, though. Either Dual Wield or Fuma will have to go next.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Waited for so long and there is only 1 new card on the list. Neos/RE Fusion should be banned too.
<< Anonymous
Kaien Reply
If i be a SS player, i definitely use DOJO instead of enishi, we still have dual wield to bounce back card (not only monster like enishi)

i think it is not enough
Anonymous
About damn time, in the Leo & Luna Carnival Event about 50% of the decks are Six Sams right now, one negation per turn is too much in the Speed Duel format.
Anonymous
Finally! Good riddance Six Samurais.
