Noob question: Why can't I chain mask change to Sylvans' effects but I could chain other spell/trap cards.

windstorm and anubis cant be activated in damage step, if you mean you can active it it means it was not in damage step when you active it

Thanks for the reply. But I could chain Windstorm and Curse of Anubis, but not Mask Change? I think Windstorm and Curse of Anubis cannot be activated in damage step

turn the toggle on, cause it appears in damage step
