How to activate Holy Guard skill?

When using Tea Gardner, i cannot activate Holy Guard skill.. Is it have any circumstances to use this skill?

The skill activates at the start of the game and prevents you from taking battle damage on your turn. So if you attack into a monster with higher Atk/Def than your attack, you won't take any damage.
