Fusion summoning l

Dunno how old this post is, but I also had similar trouble. I thought it was a bug bit it's actually not. Fusion Summoning only counts when you use polymerization or fusion gate, because the cards say "Fusion Summon a monster...". I was wondering why Neos fusion monsters didn't count, it was because you special summon them, not actually fusion summon. The same for the effect of "Hex-Sealed Fusion" monsters. Simply said, just summoning a fusion monster doesn't count as a Fusion Summon, it's about how you summoned it. It sounds a bit confusing, but it makes sense.

are you using polymerization or fusion gate? fusion monsters that are summoned through special summoning ( using mythical beast of serket or summoner of illusions) don't count as fusion summonings.
