Vision hero witch raider

Sooo...here is the thing: I really like this card, but I'm guessing that she is pretty much useless against ancient gear since fortress and geartown could summon more monsters if they are destroyed. Is there any chance that witch raider's effect makes them miss the timing and allow me to destroy fortress and geartown safely? Or will all heck break lose like I think and should I just give up on this card while ancient gear is a thing? I'm feelin' really bummed about this.

The ONLY way you could cause Geartown to miss its timing with Witch Raider is if you Tributed a monster with an effect that activates when it's sent to the Graveyard, like Sangan or Retaliating "C", to Summon it.

Fortress can't miss its timing regardless.

I guess you could try Silent Graveyard if you REALLY want to use Witch Raider against Ancient Gear, but that uses a LOT of resources.

Add cosmic !! To the deck so if you're facing AG relia more on you're spell then witch raider !! Every good card need support to work against everything!! Hope that helps !!
