Dude, duel links uses a different format of the game called ''speed duel'' the max amount of card that you cand use is 30 no more and minimun 20 and that's it if you wanna play 40 card just stick to the actual tcg or wait until ''duel masta'' to come out.

If it was the actual card game you would have 8000 LP and have 5 monster slots instead of 3 and 5 spell/ trap slots instead of 3. So unless they fixed this in the update (I didn't get the new update)Then the game is nothing like the card game also me and about 16 others I know have had to wait 1 to 2 turns before they could synchro summon.

Tbh, Duel Links should have made a choice be available so you could do Normal or Speed duel

Max extra slot cards you can get is 38 with Jesse’s ability, that includes 7 crystal beats and rainbow dragon but of course the deck is not gonna be good

There is extra slots just dont know how to unlock them I unlocked a extra deck slot by doing 100 synchro summons

To be honest ive been trying to figure this out myself as well, im pretty sure it might be an in app purchase but I doubt it because i havent seen anyone who has more than 30 cards without using an ability like meet my family or grandpa’s cards

Actually max is 35 if you get 30 cards + exodia skill
