I run Weevil deck myself, I am not a fan of pumpinks. You're gonna need that space for mask-burning land(2)

I used to run 3 Pumpkins. They are good in lower leves because they don't run de-spells. But like you said, you can't pass gold. I switched them out for Burning lands because they are essential against HHG which is most of the meta.

Who said lower levels don't run de-spell? Usually most deck on avg run 1 despell alike. They cant stop fast enough. Running 3 is already exploiting.
