Spellbook is the new sylvans but seems to have less counterplay.
Spellbooks is basically draw and mill whatever you want for the approriate situation. As if you are searching with your deck open.
Every turn they can easily get thevresources to set spelltrap back to hand/flip facedown monster/banish controlled card.
Opponent cant build up anything or gain momentum this way.
Spellbooks have even easy access to special summon the board.
This deck is getting out of hand.
At least vs cyber angel dakini there were viable meta counterdecks.
These dont exist vs spellbook deck.
A really early otk through a super lucky draw defeats them, but its not exactly hard to prevent that with their tools in general.
This deck is spreading like a disease in legend. Especially with 5k life.
With wcs 2018 qualifiers stage it was already a plague at 22+ with 4k life only.
There need to become more countercards vs spellbook decks or this deck will get even more out of hand.
Spellbooks are maybe even more counterable by f.e. flooding the field, killing or negating the blue kid, emptying their resources.
Trunade helps a bunch too.
Another dumbass who doesn't have a clue how Spellbooks work. How about you play the deck and let's see your win rate by then. Just coz you got owned, doesn't mean it's easy.
