when a deck get so much abuse in the ladder it deserve a ban, one card synchro and easy otk. HL are to-xic. shiranui did the same. one card synchro and easy OTK.
Yes keep banning broken cards so that people will buy new cards with real money. I support the idea to ban more can cerous cards, limiting 20 cards per banlist will be really good.
Shiranui never OTK on turn 2. The deck is much more fairer than those broken turn 2 OTK. Lunalight, Dragunity, Thunder Dragon and others deserved a ban when you can summon everything and win on turn 2.
Shiranui is unfair because it is too cheap.
Stupid players kept abusing this deck without buying new boxes.
It's not normal a deck wins for half the price of classic meta decks.
Cheapness has nothing to do with it being unfair. The problem was that you had a 8 card “package” that let you utilize a slough of powerful traps like Ballista Squad and Floodgate that often strengthened your plays even further and created a powerful control deck. Even if the archetype had been spread out as much as Dark Worlds, they’d still would have been hit.
If a deck that doesn't OTK deserve a ban then all the OTK should be ban as well. Now everyone wanted to go second to have huge advantage. TD, Cydra, Infernity, Blackwing, Hero, Lunalight, Dragunity, Onomat, DDD... every single mofo wanted to go second and this concept must change.
Yeah the guy who get the first turn should have five cards to be fair. The guy who get 2nd turn gets to use five cards, even though it's literally HIS first turn too.
I always throw my hands up in agony when i get the first turn.
At least in the META rn it has been evolved to the point that who play first usually win. Who care about that one card when I could set up board free of disruption? Water deck is the primary go first deck rn. Blue eyes and harpie to a smaller extent,
