I'm surprised nobody talks about Silent Magician or Gold Sarcophagus being in the dream tickets, considering the only way to obtain them is through buying Yugi Muto's EX structure deck (Needing real money) I've gotten 2 of my 3 copies of Silent Magician from the dream tickets, so it has been fairly useful in making a SpellBook deck, I'd rather get a card that is impossible to get f2p then a card that is possible, but difficult.
Good point. With a patience, anyone would eventually get their hand on every card expect premium structure deck. I choose something that cant be obtained by the normal ways. Some people didnt even think about it since they consider it for being very cheap, and thats exactly what konami want. In the end, it is about patience vs desire
The problem is, if you want competitive AND f2p rather get a more viable deck than Silent + Spellbooks because that deck is rather cheeks now due to banlist. Why spend gems + tickets to Silent magician when you can get staples and spend gems on Ko’aki/Six Sam which is better and not require real money?
I also believe so, getting any card from structure decks is not a good investment, perhaps silent magician was a good choice back at the days but you need 3 dream tickets to get 3 copies without the need to spend money and that is one year, one year is more than enough to make best card irrelevant
for the rest of the EX structure decks you will usually want 3 copies of at least 2 cards from that deck to make a viable deck, 3 DSOW/2-3 cosmo brains, Reactor/Geartown/Fortress, Brave Neos/Neos fusion...etc
