I have a question about the gem rewards you get for gaining rank in the ranked matches. If you're in legend or KOG you'll be send back to somewhere in platinum right? But doesn't that mean you'll miss out on a lot of gems? because you won't be able to gain rank and become silver, 1 ,2 3, etc., gold 1, 2, 3 etc., because you'll already be ranked higher than that.
So is it smart to purposely lose rank if you made it to KOG or whichever rank you're at? So that you'll start at the bottom of the ladder again next season, I feel like I've missed out on some rewards this season because I started in gold 1. Or will you be rewarded those gems at the beginning of the season?
For example if you start in plat 1 next season, will you get all gems up until that rank, so the gem rewards from rookie rank 2 up to platinum rank 1?
I don't know how but I've gotten all the bronze and silver gem rewards 2 times (haven't reached gold yet though).
Been playing since January, though - don't know if they reset the rewards at some point
