What do you do against Dark Renewal?

Arkana will use Dark Renewal only if he has face-up monster on his field. Thanks to Gate Guardian, Arkana will only set his monster face-down except Dark Magician if he has Thousand Knives on his hand, which Ready for Intercepting is prepared to deal with

He only use when there is face up? Not because he is out of his 6 spellcasters?

Maybe it's AI glitch, Arkana will never use Dark Renewal if he has no face-up monster on his field

Do you guys think it is safer to change 3 pot of Greeds to 3 riryoku fields
