It is worth noting that when a monster is equipped to relinquished, it is treated as a spell card. What this means is, relinquished will NOT gain the extra damage or defense from any kind of effect on the equipped card, such as black pendant. Also, I assume due to the nature of how the card is coded, stealing a monster that you use Riryoku on does NOT work. For example, if you use Riryoku on a 1000 atk monster, and then steal that monster, Relinquished will only gain a total of 1000 atk, not 1500. Keep all of this in mind when you're trying to figure out lethal damage.
