Maybe with 5ds Release, new GX character would be delayed but after Yubel we have potential for the following characters:

2 - Tyranno Hassleberry
3 - Lyman Banner
4 - Sartorius
5 - Axel brodie
6 - Chumley Huffington
Also, for Yu-GiOh! (DM):
1 - Duke Devlin
Probably Blair Flannigan will come someday for GX, she is a very popular character in Japan and with GX fans. Also, the japanese audience likes DM-GX more than 5DS (I like GX more than 5DS too, but I'm talking about the Japanese audience), so... Even characters like Rebecca can appear in this game.

I don't know why anyone thinks we're going to get Lyman Banner (who is practically dead at this point), or Chumley (99% of all cards he played have been released in DL, in boxes)
Yugioh as a whole is kinda a sausage fest. It's considered a boys show. Once we get Akiza I'll be good. She's the best waifu with potentially the best character treatment among the girls.
