Less expensive than Hearthstone, less expensive than Magic (for more than 2 decades) that's right; now you now the reason behind such pejorative terms and extortion.
I think any person with some... decent amount of intelligence can realize Yu-Gi-Oh! is the most affordable card game in the market. Less expensive than He4rthstone and also less expensive than M4gic the Gathering. Maybe that can explain why there are many TROLLS all over this website spreading hate and POLLUTION against this game.
Not to say I don’t love Yugioh, but Pokemon is by far the more affordable card game. You can get an entire top tier deck for 30-40 dollars, where as Yugioh it takes a few hundred on the low side

That is more applicable to Yu-Gi-Oh! than it is to Pokemon. Pokemon was originally a manga, then an anime, and then the OCG was created specifically AS a tie-in for the anime. (Hence why it's called the "Official Card Game", as it's the official card game of the YGO anime.)
